I’m outraged that Transport Minister Peter Batchelor has allowed fare increases on Victoria’s public transport.
Under the contracts set up by the Kennett government, the Transport Minister must approve any reduction in service or increase in prices. I thought the Labor Party was in favour of increased use of public transport, not decreased use.
They should have knocked back a decrease in service and increases in ticket prices.
